What does «catering» stand for in Russia? To date, catering in Russia represents a specific format for delivering services and food – receptions, banquets, buffets or picnics. However, for the world community, the notion of catering has long included other elements, such as event-catering, food served on different transport means, public and social catering (educational and medical institutions, corporate catering, etc.), retail sales of ready food products, beverage and cocktail catering (on-site bars) and contracts for office and home deliveries of ready meals.
