What does «catering» stand for in Russia? To date, catering in Russia represents a specific format for delivering services and food – receptions, banquets, buffets or picnics. However, for the world community, the notion of catering has long included other elements, such as event-catering, food served on different transport means, public and social catering (educational and medical institutions, corporate catering, etc.), retail sales of ready food products, beverage and cocktail catering (on-site bars) and contracts for office and home deliveries of ready meals. The Russian market of catering services and customer interest are growing and expanding rapidly, including all these new points of service. In 2013, we will bring together and concentrate everything that is known about the Russian and global catering industry in one place – at the Catering Forum.

    The 2013 catering format includes:
  • Exhibition of producers and suppliers of food products, convenience foods of different degrees of readiness, specialized equipment for centralized manufacturing facilities, equipment, utensils and tableware, and furniture. Both foreign and Russian companies will be represented.
  • An extensive seminar programme presented by leading industry experts. Seminar themes will include the main tendencies in the catering industry – from the organization of corporate catering and food served on different transport means to premium catering services. Owners and managers of the most important Russian catering companies and leading international operators have been invited to lecture on these topics.

Every day, the best catering companies in Moscow will prepare and set up thematic buffet tables and compete for the title of «Best Catering».
